Amy took me to Audley End on Thursday morning, we had sunshine and nice weather. The Audley End house was originally built in 1605, and was given to Lord Chancellor Sir Thomas Audley by King Henry VIII. As the house changed hands, the decorators changed their preferences, so as you move through the house, you see some original pieces from the Jacobean, but also neoclassical and Victorian rooms. It was so interesting that as the house changed hands, there were rooms that the previous owner loved, and the new owner thought disastrous!
